Yes, all products include a manufacturer’s guarantee. In the first 12 months, you should contact the retailer you purchased from. Some products also offer an extended guarantee if registered within 30 days.

Who handles the guarantee in the first year?

If your product is eligible, you can register online within 30 days of purchase using your proof of purchase and product details (such as the product code found on the packaging).

What should I do if my product is faulty?

Contact customer services first to follow the correct returns process. Do not return items without instruction.

Will I be refunded or receive a replacement?

If a product is confirmed faulty, you may receive a replacement. If the same item is unavailable, a similar product or full refund will be offered.

What is not covered under the guarantee?

The guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse or failure to follow care instructions.

Guarantee

All products listed as new carry a manufacturer’s guarantee; the time period will be different for each product. During the first 12 months, guarantee is held with the retailer from which the product was purchased. An extended guarantee, registered within 30 days of purchase, is available on products where this is advertised on the packaging.

Faulty Goods

If your item is faulty or develops a fault within the time period stated under ‘Guarantee’, we will pay reasonable costs for the goods to be returned. Please contact us in advance regarding our returns procedure as refunds cannot be processed without the correct information being provided. Reasonable care must be taken to ensure the returned goods are not damaged in transit and proof of postage must be obtained. In the event that we cannot provide an exact replacement, a similar product will be offered. If we cannot provide an exact or similar replacement, a full refund will be offered. Any damages from day to day wear and tear are not covered by this guarantee. If an item is not available due to stock shortages we will offer a full refund or an alternative product. If an alternative product is purchased but you decide you wish to return it, Giles and Posner will pay reasonable costs of returning the product.
